Q: Is immediate insurance cover available?
A: Yes. Most of our sites offer instant online cover with instant documentation. However we are also here during office hours should you wish to speak to an advisor to arrange your insurance. We can email across a copy of your policy documents immediately.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: This varies and often depends on a lot of different underwriting factors. You can obtain a quotation online or by calling us on 0845 226 8559 (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm).
Q: How can I pay for my policy?
A: We offer our customers a choice of easy payment methods – from debit/credit card to a debit direct instalment facility for a small extra charge. Please note, our direct debit option is not yet available online.
Q: How do I find out more about the policy coverage?
A: Specific details about each of the insurance products we provide can be found by accessing the required product website from the home or products and services page on this website.
Q: How do I make a claim?
A: If you are unfortunate enough to have suffered a claim and/or incident and you would like to discuss making a claim against your insurance policy, please refer to your policy wording where full details about making a claim will be provided. If you need assistance with this please contact us. Always remember to have your policy number to hand before calling.
Q: Can I change or cancel my policy?
A: If you would like to amend or cancel your insurance policy with IPG your request will need to be put in writing. Regrettably we are not able to do this over the telephone. This can be done online either from our ‘Existing Customers’ page or by emailing us directly at business@insuranceprotector.co.uk. Alternatively, you can send your request by post; our address details can be found in our ‘Contact Us’ page on this website. Remember to quote your policy number on all correspondence.
Q: What can I do if I’m not satisfied with IPG?
A: If you are not wholly satisfied with the product or service you have been provided with by IPG you have the right to cancel your policy. Please refer to the back of your policy wording where further details concerning this matter will be disclosed. If you choose to cancel the policy within 14 days of policy inception you will be entitled to a full refund on the premium you have paid subject to the policy being claim free. If the policy is cancelled after the 14 day cooling off period this will normally result in a pro-rata return premium (subject to any policy minimum time on risk charge) less our administration fee to take into account our costs in providing the policy. You are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS at
